Happy New Year!

And hopefully it will be a really successful one. I always wish and strive for better things each year, but I am beginning to think with each year I'm becoming more specific in my goals so that way I can actually achieve them and have that feeling of success. Nothing like coming back to a new year and thinking, "oh yeah, I wanted to ditch that loser boyfriend and quit smoking, neither of which I've done." That isn't my case THIS year, that was something of achievement in 2004-05...but nonetheless it's a great example of failure that I can remember at the moment.
With this past year, I have personally gone through some obstacles that have helped bring me the faith I needed in myself. I ended up having a wonderful GPA this semester on top of joining a club/sport at the college. I still have insecurity issues all over the place, but have been with a wonderful man for almost two years now, with our slightly dysfunctional dog children.  With all of that said, I believe it's time for me to list my goals so that I can continue to look back on them.

Goals:
1. Half Marathon completion
2. 4.0 semester
3. reduce my waste by eliminating use of paper towels and napkins while in the kitchen.
4. learn to make my own clothes (to go with my awesome new dress form from christmas!!)
5. Start biking everywhere I can from here on out.

I actually would like to find a good program for my phone where I could log my biking miles, but alas, the programs I do find look AWESOME....but not for my little 3G dinky iphone. I don't have the new 4 so pretty much any program that came out in the last 6 months, will not work efficiently for me. Bummer.
Oh well. I feel like I had a few more goals, but thats what happens when you sit on the computer staring blankly while trying to make yourself write. Maybe I'll be able to keep this blog going atleast 2-3 times a week to keep myself in line.
As for now, It's time to charge my phone and pick out a bike trail with my loverly.

All Cupcakes from here on out.
